Reuters reports Amazon fire is being shipped, one day earlier than expected.
| Now that the Fire is really here, we already start seeing User's reviews. It appears that the first users agree that the Fire is not a Tablet-replacing device (as could have been deduced by the technical details ), but more of an excellent all-media-consumption device. Critiques may say that as such it is not a complete tablet killer, but then again, tablets are not complete PC-killers themselves, and they still had a huge impact on PC sales. One thing is clear - the smart mobile gadgets arena just gets more and more interesting . |
In a personal note I promise to update this report with a personal experience as soon as my wife gets her kindle fire, a late birthday present she has been waiting to for several months now. Yes, she was so jealous of my WiFi kindle, I had to get her one of her own so I could do some peaceful reading, and she agreed to wait for the Fire.
