Did you know these facts ? a collection of trivia for a trivial day...

A collection of facts and trivialities that did not mold into a cohesive post and turned out to be a collection of....

There are some places with a really short name, and Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is actually the name of a real place! even more astounding, there are some very long words in the English language (but other languages are here too and lets not forget modern gems as well)...

I've ran into some really worthwhile at "the straight dope" (which has been fighting stupidity since 1973, and still does it!):

The color of red, according to Theweek.com, has some impressive impacts -
  1.  Seeing the color Red intensifies our physical reactions
  2. Men who dress in red are more desirable to women (the same goes vice versa)
  3. Athletes wearing red have an advantage in competitions on other-color wearers
  4. Seeing Red on an exam paper increases the chance of failures/lower grades.
Thinking about it, it would appear impact #1 explains it all... so, unless you are going to some place where having a dangerous trait about you may endanger your life, it would appear it might not be such a bad idea to have some Red in your wear. Regardless of your choices, always remember that colors perception is a matter of culture.
